Directions/GPS: 

From the intersection of Jay and Water Streets in Lock Haven (the Lock Haven Courthouse), travel west on Water Street for 1 mile.  Turn right onto PA Route 120 (Susquehanna Avenue) and travel 30.2 miles.  Turn left onto River Road.  Continue to the railroad tracks, about 0.1 mile down River Road.  Park here and take the tracks to your right, west, along the tracks about 0.25 mile, or 714 railroad ties, and the cemetery is in a clearing on your left.  Be advised that these are active railroad tracks and watch for trains.

History:

Although the definite history of this plot is not known, it appears to have been used by the Abraham Kepler family, friends and neighbors, in the area of Shintown.  The first burial appears to have been Abraham Kepler, in 1885, and the cemetery is still in occasional use today.
