Directions/GPS: From the intersection of Jay and Water Streets in Lock Haven, head South one block and turn left onto East Main Street (PA Route 150). Travel 4.8 miles and turn left onto Park Avenue. Travel 2.0 miles into the town of Woolrich. Turn left onto Cemetery Road and travel about 0.5 mile to the end of the road. Turn right onto Little Plum Run Road and travel about 0.7 mile. A farm will appear on your left, 1163 Little Plum Run Road. Pull in here and ask for permission to access the cemetery. History: Frederick and Margaret Grubb Shaffer were early settlers in the Chatham Run area. Their son, Philip, and his wife Catharine Walmer, also resided in the area and are buried in a small cemetery on the hill behind their farmhouse in Dunnstable Township. |
