Directions/GPS: 

From the Lock Haven Exit of I-80, travel toward Lock Haven for approximately 1 mile.  Turn right onto Auction Road, and travel for 1.0 miles.  The lane to the cemetery is on your right.  It is advisable to consult with Mr. Lapp, who lives across the road, before going to the cemetery, as it is on private land, and to respect the custom of the Amish people.

History:

 

The Amish community, a sect of the Anabaptist faith which maintains a simple, conservative lifestyle, began moving into the fertile farming valleys of Central Pennsylvania in the mid- to late-20th century.  Several of their dead are buried in a cemetery on a family farm in Lamar Township.
