Directions/GPS: From the Lock Haven Exit of I-80, travel toward Lock Haven for approximately 1 mile. Turn right onto Auction Road, and travel for 1.0 miles. The lane to the cemetery is on your right. History:
The Amish community, a sect of the Anabaptist faith which maintains a simple, conservative lifestyle, began moving into the fertile farming valleys of Central Pennsylvania in the mid- to late-20th century. Several of their dead are buried in a cemetery on a family farm in Lamar Township. |
